Every Day Prayer Fuel (23 Dec 2023)
Take a moment to day to give thanks for all who have chosen to join in this prayer initiative, for the praise, thanksgiving, and prayer they have sown into the country and people of Egypt. Pray a blessing over their day, and the weeks to come. Ask Him to draw in the others He wants to be part of this beautiful journey toward His glory in these countries.
16 I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, 18 having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might… Eph 1:16-19 ESV

The Basic format of this prayer initiative is to pray for one of our Middle Eastern countries each month for 13 months from September 2023-September 2024.
Each week of each month will usually follow this pattern:
Sunday: praying for those things that may multiply new churches/fellowships into movements
Monday: praying a verse or set of verses over that country
Tuesday: asking for breaking through barriers that could limit Kingdom growth
Wednesday: lifting up local partners
Thursday: praying for seekers and new believers
Friday: interceding for sharing & sowing opportunities
Saturday: asking for breakthrough in certain cities or among a certain people group

If you have any problem accessing the app or the calendar, you can invest your committed prayer time into prayer for one or more of those topics.
If you need more prayer fuel…
- search for today’s news about that country
- look at a map and pray for places you see
- reach out to someone you know who is working in that country and ask them how else you can pray
- ask the Holy Spirit what you should pray that day. God likes to direct us into intercession when we ask and listen. If you don’t “hear” anything, pray what is most on your heart or mind.
