Prayer Fuel
Every Day Prayer Fuel (13 June 2024)
There are so many ways to pray over countries & peoples. Experiment with one of these if you’d like:
- Choose a passage of Scripture and pray the the truths in it–sentence by sentence–over Saudi Arabia and it’s people.
- Sing one of the songs shared this month over Saudi Arabia, or sing one as if you were a believer living in Saudi Arabia and lifting this praise to God, or singing out these words for your people.
- Perform a simple physical act as you pray such as “using your hand to stir up wind toward Saudi Arabia as a symbol of the Holy Spirit blowing there” or “pouring water into a bowl as a symbol of the coming of His river of living water there” or “bowing in worship as an invitation for all Saudis to do the same.”

The Basic format of this prayer initiative is to pray for one of our Middle Eastern countries each month for 13 months from September 2023-September 2024.
Each week of each month will usually follow this pattern:
Sunday: praying for those things that may multiply new churches/fellowships into movements
Monday: praying a verse or set of verses over that country
Tuesday: asking for breaking through barriers that could limit Kingdom growth
Wednesday: lifting up local partners
Thursday: praying for seekers and new believers
Friday: interceding for sharing & sowing opportunities
Saturday: asking for breakthrough in certain cities or among a certain people group
If you have any problem accessing the app or the calendar, you can invest your committed prayer time into prayer for one or more of those topics.
If you need more prayer fuel…
- search for today’s news about that country
- look at a map and pray for places you see
- reach out to someone you know who is working in that country and ask them how else you can pray
- ask the Holy Spirit what you should pray that day. God likes to direct us into intercession when we ask and listen. If you don’t “hear” anything, pray what is most on your heart or mind.
